THE BOOK FAIR as one of the most significant cultural event provides the highest concentration of works by local and foreign authors, contemporary and classical literary works, professional scientific and fiction literature, school books and training manuals, encyclopedias and works related to culture and arts.

The 25th Book Fair 2014 will undoubtedly be a place of literary readings and speeches of prominent authors in this field which will again highlight the power of literary works as an essential factor for the cultural creation of every nation. At the Book Fair it will be presented in one place the biggest domestic publishers as well as the publishers from the region that makes this fair one of the most attractive events which number of visitors is around 40,000.

The readers traditionally can follow the promotions of the latest editions and of their authors of a great number of domestic and foreign publishing companies. Undoubtedly, the Book Fair is of vast importance as one of the most visited fairs in our country, which participates in the development of the tradition and the cult of the written word, which certainly unites the people.

Within the fair this year also we continue with the traditional action "Give a book, give wealth" with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia. This action is aimed at encouraging the act of giving books as presents especially among the young people as the most appropriate gift for all occasions: birthdays, name days, anniversaries and holidays, thus showing an example to the whole public that they should not forget the printed editions. The campaign is focused to support the publishing activity by stimulating the purchase of books and love for the written word, as a permanent value that refines.
