The international Book Fair, as one of the biggest cultural events in the Republic of Macedonia, is the leading event for the lovers of the beautiful word and a real holiday for all funs of the print.
In the days of the fair the visitors can attend the numerous thematic meetings and appropriate exhibitions in addition to the latest editions of the domestic and foreign publishers.

As always, the readers can follow the promotions of the latest editions and their authors of the great number of participating publishing companies from the Republic of Macedonia and abroad.    
All of this points out the significance of the Fair of Books as one of the best visited fair in the Republic of Macedonia which contributes to the creation of the tradition and cult for the written word that certainly unites people.

Motivated by the successful realization of the action "Give a book, give treasure" in 2011, where celebrities from different fields: actors, singers, presenters, journalists, people from the fashion world who were buying books to present them to their dearest as a treasure, we want this activity to obtain the character of a traditional event in the fair. This action aims at encouraging, especially, the young population give books as the most suitable gifts for all occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, showing an example to the entire population that the printed editions should not be forgotten.
